Creating more customer value with better services

For manufacturing companies looking to develop their service business, there is another attractive offer from the University of Twente this year. Under the guidance of experienced business coaches from the practice, master students will get their teeth into your challenges about B2B marketing, strategy, innovation and servitizing. An attractive offer to create customer value with service!

What service challenges?

A team of master's students, under the guidance of experienced business coaches from practitioners and faculty from the university, will work on your questions such as:

  • how relevant is servitization to our business?
  • what is the customer value of the services we provide?
  • How to provide customers with solid service experiences?
  • To what extent do we have the right service culture?
  • How can the service strategy be effectively rolled out in the organization?
  • how to ensure that service becomes part of innovation and product development?
  • what is the best go-to-market strategy for a new idea?
  • What price can we charge for services provided?

An attractive offer

To get answers to these questions, you only invest time. 

Before the summer, you will discuss your issues with one of the business coaches. We will then agree with the coach on what support and information is needed. 

In September, students will begin working on the question for you. 

As a participating company, you will attend three joint sessions on Campus over a 10-week period. In addition, the requested time is mainly for sharing information, participating in surveys, interviews and participating in a workshop (facilitated by the coach) at your company. And should you be interested, you can also attend relevant lectures.

The result

Based on the collected data and information, the latest insights and theory, the creativity of the students and the relevant experience of professional coaches, the teams come up with answers to your challenges. These are presented and described in a final report at the end of the project.
